At some point, your company will reach the MATURITY phase of the business lifecycle. Your company's market share will begin leveling off and, eventually, it will decline as the market becomes saturated or customer preferences change. Your company is well-established; you know your market, you know your product and you know your industry. Your earnings are flat but, through efficiency, you maintain a strong profit margin. You may also find that your company is well-known. You likely have a fair amount of brand loyalty. You have found what works. In this phase, growth and survival is dependent on innovation and the transition of strategic partnerships into strategic alliances.
